PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble/disassemble a crawler crane to be disassembled into plural members without using an auxiliary crane. SOLUTION: A boom suspending jig 33 having a block 34 is fitted to an outrigger fitting bracket 32 on a machine mount 20 by manpower, and a wire rope 27 of a winch 26 is wound on the block 34, to lift a boom device 25 by a hook 35, thereby fitting the device 25 to a column 23. Then the jig 33 is removed to wind the rope 27 on the block of the device 25, to make a crane part usable, thereby assembling a crawler crane by using the crane part afterward.
