PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly show a winning line without obstructing the visibility of symbols. SOLUTION: When respective reels 8a, 8b and 8c stop, three symbols for respective reels 8a, 8b and 8c are aligned in top, intermediate and bottom lines along the arrangement directions of symbol display windows 20a, 20b and 20c, and in the right side up and right side down respective diagonal directions which cross these lines. On the rear side of a front surface panel 11, line display apparatus 30A-30E which irradiate linear rays by laser are provided by being confronted with locations corresponding with the aligned directions of the symbols. The linear rays from respective line display apparatus 30A-30E are irradiated in the aligned directions of respective symbols, on the outer peripheral surfaces of respective reels 8a, 8b and 8c, and linear projected patterns by the reflection of the irradiated rays are set as winning lines L1-L5.
