PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box making machine which makes it unnecessary to minimize an arm length on the assumption of the minimum size and can fold the outer flap of a corrugated cardboard box irrespective of the size of the box. SOLUTION: In a box making machine for producing a corrugated cardboard box by folding the inner and outer flaps of the box in turn and sealing the butt part of the outer flap, as an outer flap folding device for folding the outer flap D1 of the corrugated cardboard box D, arms 221, 321 for folding the outer flap are fitted to a shaft part, the shaft parts of a pair of comb blade-shaped oscillators are pivoted oscillatorily on a box making machine main body 1, the shaft parts of the oscillators are arranged to be able to approach each other or to separate from each other, when the outer flap of the box is folded by the oscillation of the oscillators, the arms 221, 321 are arranged to prevent the mutual interference.
