PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a production method of micro-lenses in which the utilization efficiency of light is high, the quality deviation in micro-lens array is small and the manufacturing of lenses is easy, or of a micro-lens mold and a board for micro-lenses or for micro-lens mold. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of micro-lenses or of a board for a micro-lens mold includes a process for forming an heat insulating mask layer 3 on a board 1 having an electrically conductive part, a process for forming opening parts 4 in the heat insulating mask layer 3, a process for forming heat insulating partition walls 6 for partitioning opening part 4 adjacent to each other on the heat insulating mask layer 3 and a process for forming electrically depositing layers 5 by electrodeposition at the opening parts 4 through the opening parts 4 and on the mask layer 3.
