PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact fountain apparatus which can easily be installed even in a small size pond and a water tank for households and offices and is capable of providing unexpected change of jetted water following the alteration of the water surface. SOLUTION: This fountain apparatus is provided with a hollow floating container 1 with a shape stable in state of floating on water surface, a water jetting nozzle formed in the upper part of the floating container 1, a water jetting pump connected to the water jetting nozzle and installed in the lower side of the floating container, a water suction port provided with a filter and opened in the lower side of the water jetting pump, a member for buoyancy with which the empty space of the floating container is filled, an anchor 7 put in the water bottom, and a cord 8 working as an electric power source and an anchor, extended from the water jetting pump and connected to the anchor 7 and also to a power source and a controller.
