A plastic drinks crate has a number of square sub-divisions forming compartments which hold esp. plastic bottles. The compartments each contain curved corner supports limiting the freedom of motion of bottles inserted. Each curved corner support consists of a two-part spring (6). One part of the spring is a torsion (8) spring support, and the other is a bending spring section (7) resting against the bottle surface.
