PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wrinkling of a photosensitive material when wound on a drum. SOLUTION: A vacuum pump 316 communicates with a drum interior 325. When the vacuum pump 316 is operated, the interior 325 is subjected under low pressure to permit a photosensitive material to be wound on the surface of a drum 310. In this machine, the rotating speed of the drum 310 is detected by an encoder 330 and the suction force of the vacuum pump 316 is controlled accordingly, thus preventing the wrinkling of the photosensitive material on the drum 310.
