<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the video reproduction device by monitoring a state of the video reproduction device and providing an optional operation instruction depending on a state. SOLUTION: A controller 1 having a state signal identification means 11 and a remote control signal transmission means 12 controls a video reproduction device 2 having a remote control signal identification means 22 and a state signal transmission means 21. A state signal to discriminate the state of the video reproduction device 2 employs a signal representing a power supply state and a reproduction state of the video reproduction device 2 in a binary signal of 0, 1 level. Thus, the state of the video reproduction device 2 is monitored with the simple method and the control in response to the state is attained.</p> |
