PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject power steering unit designed to obviate such a problem that a proper turning has been unable to be performed because of being devoid of the explicit priority order between hydraulic fluid fed by automatic steering operation based on automatic direction control and that fed by manual handle operation by a relevant operator from his seat. SOLUTION: This power steering unit 3 which actuates steering wheels by hydraulic pressure has such a scheme that a traveling vehicle body is mounted with a hydraulic-type actuator 4; wherein the actuator 4 is connected to an automatic side hydraulic circuit 6 communicating with a solenoid changeover valve 5 subject to changeover based on automatic steering operation and also connected to a manual side hydraulic circuit 9 communicating with a power steering valve 8 subject to operation based on the operational angle of the handle; and the maximum flow of oil through the manual side hydraulic circuit 9 is made greater than that through the automatic side hydraulic circuit 6. |
