<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a septic tank capable of stably developing the satisfactory purifying capacity of sewage while realizing the reduction in production cost and maintenance cost. SOLUTION: An aeration tank 4 has aerobic bacteria supported on the surface thereof and is packed with numberless flowing carriers 7 convected up and down along with sewage by air diffused by an air diffusing pipe 8. An anaerobic chamber 6 and an aeration chamber 4 are partitioned by a partition wall 2 and a plurality of communication holes 2a partially immersed in sewage of the anaerobic chamber 6 and the aeration chamber 4 are provided to the partition wall 2.</p> |
