PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of normal recording while controlling layer-to-layer shift caused between upper and lower sheets of recording sheets in a recording process of a recording head after the terminals of the recording sheets run out of a feeding driven roller. SOLUTION: A recorder is equipped with a cylindrical platen 1, a recording head 4 opposed to the outer periphery of the platen, feeding rollers 2, 3 for carrying recording sheets S to the recording head along the outer periphery of the platen while holding the recording sheets S in a space to the platen and a discharge driving roller 5 for discharging the recording sheets recorded by the recording head to the outside, the discharge driving roller 5 being disposed on the recording surface of the recording sheets.
