PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maintenance workability by pivotally supporting an unpolished rice tank disposed above a pearling section in such a manner that the tank can be freely directed to a position corresponding to a grain supply section of the pearling section and a position deviating from the grain supply section of the pearling section and disposing the unpolished rice tank arranged in the grain supply section of the pearling section retreatably from the position. SOLUTION: At the time of rice milling work, the unpolished rice tank 17 is arranged above the pearling section 1 and a grain downflow port thereof is made correspondent to a grain feeding hopper 7. As a result, the grins in the unpolished rice tank 17 are dropped in a grain falling cylinder 6 and are admitted into the grain lifting path of the supply section 2 from a grain release port 10. The grains are successively fed into the pearling spacing of the pearling section 1 by the grain lifting effect of a supply rotor 4 and are pearled by the grinding effect of a pearling rotor 3. On the other hand, the unpolished rice tank 17 is directed around a fulcrum shaft 18 onto a drive control chamber 15, by which the unpolished rice tank 17 arranged in the grain supply section of the pearling section 1 is retreated from the position when maintenance and inspection are occasionally carried out. As a result, the pearling section 1 is opened in an upper position.
