PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the arrangement of a lot of distillation columns to improve capacity thereof in a tubular distillation tower that a lot of distillation columns are accepted by an outer tower by arranging the distillation columns so that the center of the three distillation columns adjacent to each other is positioned at the apex of an equilateral triangle. SOLUTION: In a low temperature distillation column, a lot of distillation columns 2 are accepted by an outer tower 1 and to the upper end of each distillation column 2, a condenser is connected and also to the lower end of each distillation column 2, a reboiler is integrally connected. Here, the distillation columns 2 are arranged so that the center of the three distillation columns adjacent to each other is positioned at the apex of an equilateral triangle, viewed from above them. And in the intermediate part of each distillation column 2, a support unit 5 consisting of a grate 6 and a grate 7 is provided where the grate 6 consists of a lot of linear frames 6a about perpendicular to the axial direction of the distillation column 2 and also extending in parallel to each other, and the grate 7 consists of a lot of linear frames 7a about perpendicular to the axial direction of the distillation column 2 and also having different extending direction from that of the frames 6a of the grate 6.
