PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus good in work efficiency. SOLUTION: When a printing head 72 is opened by oscillating a head frame 76 in a counterclockwise direction from such a state that the printing head 72 is closed, a pin 104 comes into contact with the lower edge of a lever 98 and the recessed part 98A of the lever 98 is detached from a pin 102 and the pin 104 pushes up the lever 98 to revolve the same clockwise. When the printing head 72 is closed by oscillating the head fram 76 clockwise from such a state that the printing head 72 is opened, the pin 104 falls and the lever 98 is revolved counterclockwise under its own wt. and the recessed part 98A is engaged with the pin 102. When the printing head 72 is opened, the head frame 76 is automatically released from a lower frame 78 and, when the printing head 72 is closed, the head frame 76 is automatically fixed to the lower frame 78. Therefore, manual fixing releasing labor is omitted and workability is improved. |
