PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling structure in which a light-shielding material fitting portion constituting a curtain box is arranged on the wall side of the ceiling and this light-shielding material fitting portion supports steel joists, so that the steel joists can be supported adequately and a space under the ceiling can be used widely even though a curtain or a blind is fitted to the light-shielding material fitting portion. SOLUTION: On the wall side of a ceiling, a curtain box (light-shielding material fitting portion) 3 to which the upper end of a light-shielding material is fitted is arranged, and the ends 4a of plural ceiling joists 4 arranged at prescribed intervals are fixed and supported on the curtain box 3. The curtain box 3 is connected with a suspended metallic material 5 fixed on the wall 2 located on the upside of the curtain box, and thus the ceiling joists 4 are supported not only by the curtain box 3 but also by the wall 2. |
