PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mineral absorption accelerator and a food and drink having a mineral absorption accelerating activity. SOLUTION: A food and drink is imparted of a mineral absorption accelerating activity by mixing κ-casein glycomacropeptide obtained by using whey protein-containing solution by-produced in producing cheese as a raw material or an enzymatically decomposed material of κ-casein glycomacropeptide to the food and drink as a mineral absorption accelerator.
