PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee's space type system kitchen by extending retractable bars between the side plates of a base cabinet forming a space under the sink, and suspending storage racks from the retractable bars. SOLUTION: At an under sink space 11 between a cabinet 8 with drawers and a base cabinet 7, retractable bars 1 are attached with the ends of the retractable bars 1 inserted into pores of both side plates 7a, 8a. The retractable bar 1 is composed of a retracting part, a housing part housing a surplus part of the retracting part, and an adjusting part to make the retractable bar retractable. A pair of two laterally spaced retractable bars 1 is made as one set and several sets of the retractable bars are provided at different heights, and a storage rack 2 is suspended by engaging a hook 2b of the storage rack 2 with a pair of the retractable bars 1.
