PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water in a dampening solution tank from splashing by providing a means for rendering an adherence of water and oil hard on a cylin der end surface of at least a piece of water fountain roller and vibrating damping roller, and forming the surface layer of a trunk central part with hydrophilic material. SOLUTION: The water fountain roller 2 is formed to rotate in a manner being immersed in a dampening solution tank 1 by its part, and its cylinder length is formed longer than the vibrating damping roller 5. A drum end surface 7 to both side drum ends from the sight inside of the cylinder end of the vibrating damping roller 5 for sending water on the surface of the water fountain roller 2 to a form roller 4 is lined with fluororubber to which water or oil is hard to adhere, and its cylinder central surface 8 is lined with lipophilic NBR. Accordingly, water from the form roller 4 and emulsified ink never adheres to the end surface 7 of the water fountain roller 2. Also, a means can be provided for rendering water and oil hard to adhere to the drum end surface of the vibrating damping roller 2; herein it can be given to both rollers. Furthermore, matter rendering water and oil hard to adhere can be coated on the cylinder end surface.
