PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting mutation of a gene encoding an active center of a reverse transcriptase of hepatitis B virus, especially mutation in YMDD motif. SOLUTION: Presence or absence of mutation of a gene encoding an active center of a reverse transcriptase of hepatitis B virus is detected by amplifying a part of a gene sequence encoding an active center, in which mutation is predicted, of a reverse transcriptase of hepatitis B virus by PCR method using a primer set comprising 5'-AGTGGGCCTC AGICCGTTTC-3' and 5'- AGACTTGGCC CCCAATACCA-3', by incorporating a labeled substrate by mini-sequence method after the amplified product is hybridized with each probe or a probe set comprising a probe mixture containing a probe or the like such as 5'-TCCCCCACTG TTTGGCTTTC AGTTATACGG-3', and by detecting the labeled substrate. |
