PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image-forming equipment and sheet-transporting equipment capable of easily transporting and discharging a sheet material. SOLUTION: A rotationally moving tray 20 is pivotally attached to the wall surface of a laser beam printer 100. A sliding guide 26 is pivotally attached to a wall surface located at an upper side from the pivotally attached point. A guide part 133 having a roller 129 is provided to connect the rotationally moving tray 20 to the sliding guide 26. Closing a face up tray 25 presses a transport roller 18 against the roller 129. Opening the face up tray 25 locates the roller 129 at the down side of a loading surface for a sheet material.
