<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent the occurrence of over-rotation in the reverse direction to the given direction of a brake motor, in a motor-driven brake device to generate a brake force by a brake motor serving as a power source. SOLUTION: Forward direction switching elements 72 and 74 and reverse direction switching elements 76 and 78 are connected to a brake motor 30 to cause a vehicle to generate a brake force. When forward direction switching elements 72 and 74 are in an ON-state, a forward current is fed to the brake motor 30 so that a vehicle is braked. Meanwhile, when reverse direction switching elements 76 and 78 are in an ON-state, a reverse current is fed to the brake motor 30 so that brake of a vehicle is released. A subfuse 86 is situated between the emitter terminal of the reverse direction switching element 78 and earthing to block a flow of an over reverse current to the brake motor 30. When an over reverse current flows to the brake motor 30, a feed of the reverse current is stopped by actuation of the subfuse 86.</p> |
