SOLUTION: A membrane case units 14 is constituted by arranging plural membrane cartridges 13 at fixed spaced intervals in a membrane case 12. And the membrane case units 14 are arranged in upper and lower two stages, and also between the two membrane cases 12, a space case 15 is provided and below the membrane case unit 14 of the lower stage, a diffusing case 17 is provided to constitute a membrane separator 11. At this time, a water collecting pipe 20 is provided integrally with the space unit 15 outside, and the water collecting pipe 20 is positioned along the direction intersecting the membrane surface of each membrane cartridge 13, and plural nozzles 20A formed leaving spaces along the axial direction thereof are opened into the case, passing through the case wall, and tubes 18 are connected to the nozzles 20A.
