<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder coating composition capable of forming a coating film high in corrosion resistance and excellent in appearance even on a metallic surface, including no plane area, of an article to be coated, and a method for forming a layered coating film excellent both in rust resistance and adhesion to a topcoat by using the composition. SOLUTION: A powder coating composition comprises a) 30-55 pts.wt. polyester resin with a hydroxy value of 50-150, b) 1-20 pts.wt. hydroxy-containing acrylic resin with a hydroxy value of 30-150, c) 1-15 pts.wt. epoxy resin and d) 10-30 pts.wt. compound containing a urethodione ring, based on 100 pts.wt. solids of the powder coating composition, and has an average particle size of 5-40μm.</p> |
