PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint material for a road boundary block capable of being inserted into a joint ditch without expanding and following even changes of joint width. SOLUTION: This joint material made of rubber or a synthetic resin is constituted in such a way that a joint ditch A having such shape that a width of an innermost part is larger than a width of an opening is provided in an adjacent part to a road boundary block provided in a boundary part between a roadway and a sidewalk and the joint material is compression-deformed and inserted into the joint ditch A. It consists of an insertion guide part 11 for guiding the insertion for the joint ditch A and a remaining ordinary part 12, the insertion guide part 11 is formed by a hard material, and the ordinary part 12 is formed by a soft material.
