PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor paste that lessens the decrease of viscosity with time. SOLUTION: A powder of an ethyl cellulose A having a lower viscosity value is mixed into butyl Carbitol acetate (a solvent) and dissolved therein by heating to form an organic vehicle A. A powder of an ethyl cellulose B having a higher viscosity value is mixed into butyl Carbitol acetate and dissolved therein by heating to form an organic vehicle B. Then, the organic vehicle A and the organic vehicle B are mixed to form an organic vehicle A+B. The organic vehicle A+B is mixed with a conductor powder and sufficiently kneaded by three rolls in a kneader or the like, and is pasted to thereby form a conductor paste. The mixing ratio of the conductor powder to the organic vehicle A+B is preferably 60-90 wt.% conductor powder to 40-10 wt.% organic vehicle. The thus-produced conductor paste achieves a small decrease of viscosity with time and assures continuously stabilized printability irrespective of the lapse of time, It is preferable that three or more ethyl celluloses having respective different viscosity values may be blended.
