<p>PURPOSE: A method for automatically controlling a gain of audio in a code division multiple access compound terminal is provided to perform a call of good quality by using a separate microphone according to a use status of the code division multiple access compound terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a current status is busy(310), it is determined that a flip is opened or closed(320). If the flip is opened, a level of current inputted audio signal is stored in a temporary buffer(X), and a reference audio level is stored in a temporary buffer(A)(314). If the level stored in X is higher than the level in A(316), the level of the inputted audio signal is reduced to the reference level and the reduced level is outputted(320). If the level in X is lower than the level in A(318), the level of the inputted audio signal is increased to the reference level and the increased level is outputted(322). Otherwise, the level of the inputted audio signal is transformed to a PCM signal without changing its level and outputted(324).</p> |
