PURPOSE: A tail gate is provided to conveniently open and close the tail gate in a vehicle by controlling the motion of the tail gate employing a hydraulic cylinder and to minimize an area for opening and closing by foldably installing the tail gate. CONSTITUTION: A tail gate(30) is foldable via a joint and a hinge(40). Rollers(90) are combined to both sides of the tail gate to slide and rotate the tail gate by the operation of a hydraulic cylinder(110) and to open and close the tail gate. An opening button(10) and a closing button(20) installed at an area of a drivers seat apply power to an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(80). An infrared sensor(70) detecting an obstacle inputs a sensing signal to the ECU to allow the ECU to output a control signal. A valve drive unit(65) directly controls a valve(60) of a hydraulic line to transmit hydraulic pressure generated from a hydraulic pump(50) to the hydraulic cylinder. According to transmission of the hydraulic pressure, the tail gate is opened and closed.
