PURPOSE: An operating device for a shift operation of a vehicle with a manual transmission is provided to smoothly and accurately shift a gearshift lever with little force by using hydraulic pressure and to reduce a stroke between a select operation and a shift operation. CONSTITUTION: A shift operating device for a vehicle with a manual transmission consists of a select cylinder(10) and a shift cylinder(11) each installed in a select lever(130) and a gearshift lever(120) in a transmission case(110); a select lever cylinder(12) and a gearshift lever cylinder(13) operated by a gearshift lever; and hydraulic lines(14a,14b) connecting each cylinders. Due to the operation of the gear lever, the hydraulic pressure of the select lever cylinder and the gearshift lever cylinder is changed. In accordance with the change of the hydraulic pressure, the select lever and the gearshift lever are operated through the select cylinder and the shift cylinder and finally, the shift operation is conducted.
