PURPOSE: A cycle-variable high voltage generating apparatus is provided to prevent an error operation of chip by power noise by varying a pumping cycle of an oscillator according to a high voltage level, quickly keeping a high voltage level stable and preventing unnecessary power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A cycle-variable oscillator is driven based on a power up signal notifying enable state of the oscillator, and generates a cycle-variable pump circuit driving signal which varies in an analog form according to the variation of the high voltage level. A high voltage pump circuit, responsive to the pump circuit driving signal, pumps the high voltage level up a threshold voltage level.
