PURPOSE: A charge coupled device is provided to remove a noise due to diffused reflection by intercepting light reflected from a shielding layer and a metal wire. CONSTITUTION: A photo diode(2) is formed at a lower portion of a substrate(1). The photo diode(2) converts an incident light to an electrical signal. A transfer portion(3) transfers a charge accumulated in the photo diode(2) through a metal wire(10) deposited on an upper portion of the substrate(1). A shielding layer(4) is formed on an upper portion of the transfer portion to shield the incident light. The first and the second planarized layers(5,7) are formed on an upper portion of the shielding layer(4) and the photo diode(2). A lens(8) refracts the incident light received through a glass layer(9). An absorbing layer(11) is formed on an upper portion of the second planarized layer(7).
