PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a DVD-R type optical information recording medium having a decreased jitter value and little generation of errors while maintaining rather high reflectance. SOLUTION: This DVD-R optical information recording medium has a dye recording layer in which information can be recorded by irradiation of laser light and a reflection layer on the recording layer on a transparent disk substrate having helical pregrooves formed. The thickness in the grooves of the dye recording layer is specified to within the range from 40 to 90% of the thickness which gives the optical pass length corresponding to the min. reflectance appearing in the smallest layer thickness side in the reflection curve of the optical information recording medium. |
