PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically accelerate a transfer speed by eliminating unnecessary information at the time of transferring image information during being acquired by a fingerprint image input device to a monitoring device. SOLUTION: Fingerprint video images sampled by a prism 1 are picked up in the image input part 3 of a camera or the like and the rotary fingerprint of a finger is synthesized in a rotary synthesis part 5 and stored in an image storage part 6. Also, the stored information is sent through an external interface part 8 to a host computer 12 by an image information control part 9 and displayed at the display part 14. At the time of transferring the information to the host computer 12, setting is performed so as to take out the pixels of only a required part on a screen in an optional rectangular frame specifying means 11, low-order four bits in the eight bits of the respective pixels are rounded down in a low-order bit round-down means 10 and a transfer information amount is reduced. Thus, synthetic images while sampling the fingerprint are displayed while being updated in a short cycle. |
