<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile system capable of confirming whether or not a transmission original is properly sent to a receiver side and received by an electronic mail. SOLUTION: A transmitter side facsimile terminal receiving a destination telephone number and a mail address at transmission recognizes its mail address information to confirm a selection state as to whether or not image data are attached to a reception confirmation mail, calls receiver side facsimile terminal and transmission the address data information, image attachment propriety information and the image data to the receiver side facsimile terminal. When the receiver side facsimile terminal completes facsimile reception and finds out an attached mail address, the receiver side facsimile terminal generates a reception confirmation notice mail, attaches a 1st page of the received image data to the reception confirmation mail as attached image data when receiving a request of attachment of an image by the image attachment request information and transmits the reception confirmation mail attached with the attached image data on request of the attachment as an electronic mail to the mail address designated by the mail address information and completes the processing (steps S101-S208).</p> |
