<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality liquid crystal display device by resolving the problem that a defective display occurs when a specific pattern such as a checked pattern of pixel units is displayed. SOLUTION: A relation of T>τis established between a time constantτof an auxiliary capacitance line 22 and a time T for which a 2nd switch element is open. Therefore, even when the potential of the auxiliary capacitance line 22 fluctuates by the influence of a signal line potential due to the coupling to the signal line, the fluctuation disappears during the time before a 2nd switch element is closed, and so a defective display can be prevented.</p> |
