摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery excellent in electric characteristics with ease in assembling by a method wherein the conductive connection between a conductive tab in a cylindrical battery and a tab linked to an outside terminal or a battery can is formed without using welding. SOLUTION: This battery 1 is constituted of a battery element enclosed in a battery can 2 which comprises a positive-electrode current collector and negative-electrode current collector having a positive active material layer and negative active material layer, respectively, wound together via a separator therebetween. In this case, the positive-electrode current collector and negative- electrode current collector are conductively equipped with plural positive conductive tabs 8 and plural negative conductive tabs 12, respectively, and at least one side of the positive conductive tabs 8 and negative conductive tabs 12 extends out of an edge surface of the winding body 7 of the battery element to bend for being attached to the core of the winding body 7 of the battery element by means of pressing-in or a conductive jig 9 for fixing screwedly instead of welding. The conductive jig 9 is conductively connected to a gathering tab 10 linked with an outside connecting terminal or directly to the battery can 2.
