PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigator for constantly recognizing a current position even in a map scroll operation and for displaying an area near the current position in an extremely large screen region. SOLUTION: When a scroll operation by a scroll-monitoring part 10b is detected, the scrolling of a map is started by a scroll execution part 10a. Then, a display-monitoring part 10d judges whether an own vehicle deviates from the display screen or not by the scroll operation and automatically switches the map display to a multi-dimensional mode for displaying the map including the position of the own vehicle and for displaying the scroll map when the position of the own vehicle deviates from the display screen by the scroll operation. |
