PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make stably recognizable the operation of a person to be recognized regardless of the physique of the person to be recognized. SOLUTION: A concave mirror 50 having a concave reflecting face equivalent to one part of a paraboloid of revolution is arranged at the upper part of an information inputting space, and two video cameras 36A and 36B are arranged at positions different from each other along an XZ plane in directions in which the information inputting space is image picked-up from almost right above through the concave mirror 50. The width along the horizontal direction of the image pickup ranges of the video cameras 36A and 36B is set so as to be almost fixed across a vertical direction (Z direction) according the concave mirror 50, and the width along the horizontal direction is set so as to be almost fixed across the vertical direction as for a recognition region capable of the recognition of the operation of an information imputer 46 (a region in which the image pickup ranges of the video cameras 36A and 36B overlap each other: a region indicated by hatching).
