PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waterproof type camera provided with an operation button which can withstand depressing operation or water pressure and which can not be easily detached. SOLUTION: A stroboscope operation button 16 made of rubber is constituted of a button part 17 and a mount part 67. The button 16 is used to perform the deprssing operation of a stroboscope charging button 38 provided on the outer surface of the main body of a film unit with a lens from the outside of a waterproof case 4. The button 16 is attached from the inside of the case 4 by fitting a projecting part 68 formed on the mount part 67 to a step part 69 formed on the inner surface of the case 4. Furthermore, the mount part 67 is supported by a rib for supporting 42 so that their fitting may not be released.
