PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform elemental analysis with high accuracy by preventing the clogging of dust and the deterioration of dust discharge efficiency at a dust recovery line. SOLUTION: This furnace 1 consists of a lower furnace body 9 for installing a sample housing crucible provided so as to elevate in a lower part side of a fixedly arranged furnace main body 4, and a dust filter 13 and a cleaning means 23 integrated in an upper part of the furnace main body 4, and is equipped with a cleaning dust recovery means 32. In such a case, a dust recovery line 34 of the dust recovery means 32 is shortened, the fixedly arranged furnace main body 4 is specified for connecting this in a straight line between this furnace 1 and a dust recovery box 35, and the dust recovery line 34 is connected to the lower part side of this furnace main body 4.
