PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement apparatus for an electronic element for a cryogenic container, by which the electronic element can be replaced surely and quickly without increasing the evaporation amount of a refrigerant inside of the cryogenic container and without lowering a measuring accuracy. SOLUTION: By the guide means of this replacement apparatus, an element gripping means 38 which grips and separates a unit in which a plurality of SQUIDs 2 are united is moved, via an air release part 4a in an inside container, between a cryogenic container 1 and a first setting position near the arrangement position of the unit, to be replaced, inside the inner container 4. By using a movement means, the element gripping means 38 is moved between the first setting position and a second setting position as the arrangement position of the unit to be replaced. As a result, the SQUIDs 2 can be replaced surely and quickly.
