PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput by making uniform the processing amounts of regions to be processed in parallel. SOLUTION: A graphic processing part 21 interprets the instruction of a PDL file or the like, generates graphic data, and converts the graphic data into short vectors. A display list generating part 22 generates a top-down display list and a bottom-up display list from the vector data. A display list buffer 23 temporarily stores the display list. A band dividing part 24 divides a page into bands. A bi-directional rendering part 25 operates rendering from two faced directions. Raster data generated by the rendering are stored in a raster data storing part 26. |
