PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device test diagnosis system capable of diagnosing a test of an I/O device without exerting influence upon the operation of the system. SOLUTION: When a device 5-n is integrated in the device test diagnosis system, a message indicating the integration of a new device is sent from the device 5-n to an I/O control device 4-1. A device driver part 45-1 receiving the message starts a test execution part 44-1. The execution part 44-1 loads a test program from the device 5-n to a memory 42-1 and executes a test based on the test program. The I/O processing of the device 5-n requested at the time of executing the test is executed through the driver part 45-1. An I/O processing end message from the device 5-n is received by the driver part 45-1 and transferred to the execution part 44-1. Its test result is transferred to an OS kernel part through a message transmitting/receiving part 43-1. |
