PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode substrate and a liquid crystal display device having high reliability and manufacture thereof. SOLUTION: A pixel electrode 151 is brought in contact with a source electrode 131 of FT 121 via contact hole 501 of a color filter CF and a contact hole 502 of a transparent insulating film 171, to be electrically connected. Gentler tapered angles can be formed for those of both contact holes without precise control of them, by forming at least a part of the contact hole 502 of the transparent insulating film 171 inside of the contact hole 501 of the color filter CF, and it is possible to prevent discontinuance between an electrode member of a pixel area and an electrode member filled in the contact hole. |
