<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a position input device which stabilizes an operation accompanying movement, also performs it without causing fatigue in fingers and can easily be used even though a disorder exists in the fingers. SOLUTION: A mouse which gives position information to a computer by moving a hand-carry main body case 1 and also gives at least two kinds of operation signals is provided with one operation button 11 provided on a side of the case 1 and a signal generating part 13 which generates at least two kinds of operation signals in accordance with the moving direction of the button 11. Since the button 11 is provided on the side surface of the case 1 in its moving direction, it is easy to apply force to the button 11 even in an operation such as to move on a horizontal surface. Then, the operation such as drag accompanying movement can stably be performed when the button 11 is pressed down.</p> |
