PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the direction of a high frequency by a DC magnetic field which realizes high-speed switching, without being affected by variance in characteristics of ferrite. SOLUTION: Three signal lines 4, 5 and 6 which have one ends connected between ferrite elements 1A and 1B are arranged at an angle of 120 deg., and electromagnets 2 and 3 are arranged which forcibly apply a DC magnetic field from the outside of ferrite elements 1A and 1B perpendicularly in the directions of high frequency signals inputted from signal lines 4, 5 and 6, and the direction of the DC magnetic field is switched by electromagnets 2 and 3 to control the going directions of high frequency signals. By this constitution, the DC magnetic field is forcibly applied from the outside to quicken the change of the magnetic field, without being influenced by the variance in characteristics of the ferrite elements 1A and 1B, and the traveling directions of high frequency signals can be quickly controlled.
