PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary sensor which requires no soldered joints, has a simple constitution, and can be manufactured inexpensively with high productivity. SOLUTION: A rotary sensor is constituted in such a manner that the end sections 5a and 6a of first and second electrode Sections 5 and 6 respectively connected to and led out from first and second resistors 3 and 4 are adjacently arranged in parallel with each other and a clip terminal 9 is attached to an insulating substrate 1 in a state where the contacting section 9a of the terminal 9 is elastically brought into contact with the first and second electrode sections 5a and 6a. The soldered joint which is required in the conventional example becomes unnecessary and the constitution of the sensor becomes simple. In addition, the productivity of the sensor is improved and the manufacturing cost of the sensor is reduced.
