PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air volume damper having a simple constitution, which is easy in the regulation of opening and closing and small in pressure loss. SOLUTION: An air volume regulating damper 20 for regulating air volume is equipped with a fixed blade body 28 on which a first opening part 31 or the flow passage of air is formed, a movable blade body 29 provided slidably with respect to the fixed blade body 28 and provided with a second opening part 34 formed at a position corresponding to the formed position of the first opening part 31, a fixed side operating groove 38 formed in parallel to a direction orthogonal to the sliding direction of the movable blade body 29, and a movable side operating groove 39 formed, so as to be slanted with respect to a direction orthogonal to the sliding direction of the movable blade body 28 by a prescribed angle.
