PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator to hardly cause the occurrence of leakage and be manufactured with high workability. SOLUTION: A gas introduction part 55 of a compressor 13 of a refrigerator comprises a valve 45 the internal space of which is sealed by an elastomer plug 45a; and a valve cap 46 formed that an internal space sealed by the valve 45 is sealed by a metal seal 47. The compressor 13 of the constitution is manufactured in such procedures that various manufacturing processes except a final process are carried out with only the valve 45 mounted thereon, and at a final process the valve cap 46 is further mounted.
