PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoothing tool for concrete end faces which can enhance the working efficiency at a curing stage prior to a compressive strength test to concrete test pieces by an unbond capping and can reduce the installation space of a water tank for curing. SOLUTION: The end face-smoothing tool 2 for concrete test piece 1 used when a cylindrical concrete test piece 1 is immersed in water to be cured consists of a cylindrical part 3 of a diameter a little larger than an outer diameter of an upper end 1c of the concrete test piece 1 and a disc part 4 for shutting an upper end opening of the cylindrical part 3. An upper end face 4a of the disc part 4 is made a flat face in a direction orthogonal to a lengthwise direction of the cylindrical part 3, and a through hole 4b is bored in the disc part 4.
