PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that can obtain a reply without teaching its own password to a recipient in the case of sending a character message to the recipient. SOLUTION: When an MS 2 receiving a questionnaire mail and a PIN 1 of an MS 1 operates a prescribed key to make a reply, the MS 2 automatically copies the PIN 1 to a code storage area 21 in a return mail format. Furthermore, When the MS 2 freely replies a reply in response to contents of the questionnaire, the MS 2 stores the reply to a reply storage area 25. When the MS 2 selects and enters a routine text, an item number corresponding to a storage area 23 is stored thereto and sent to the MS 1. In the case of making a reply to an opposite communication terminal in this way, the password of the opposite party is automatically attached to a reply character mail and the mail is transmitted.
